Im getting ready to post some new pics. Had a few mods done this winter. As for your question about the lettering on the tires its a paint pen I got it from Wal Mart in the plastic model isle the tire pen didn't work to good. The Testors model paint pen works the best you just have to go over it a couple of times then every couple of months touch it up.

Do it up Marine you'll be surprised on how many compliments you get on it and its only a $2.50 mod. Glad I could add some ideas to my fellow riders. Also as a not the pens usually come in a 3 pack I got white yellow and blue in a pack. If anyone else wants to try it.

I did that to my old tires too, looked ok. I did it in silver to match my old bike. But IMO it's too much hassle. It took a long time to do it nice & neat, and the tires don't stay on too long If you're easy on tires, go for it.

The Yosh sounds awesome. Friend of mine has a stock R6 and his sounds pussified next to mine.

I actually got a ticket a few month back because the cop said "It sounded like he was going fast". HOLY CRAP!!! What a bunch of BS! I got a ticket for "Excessive Acceleration" for SOUNDING FAST. Too funny.

Get the Yosh pipe. I love mine. I have an RS3 Race can (the zyclone is too quiet) in carbon fiber and I think it looks great. It'll look especially good with the yellow. I have an 02 in yellow and I think the pipe accents it perfectly. By the looks of your bike, I don't think you could go wrong with it. She's one fine machine. Love the clean look without the graphics.

thanks Ken. I'm not repainting anytime soon, so those damn clearcoat stripes on the tank will have to stay... I think I'll go for the Yoshi (they're a little cheaper than a Micron, too!) soon.... will post a pic when I do...

I understand completely, I have a friend with a red R6 and he took the stickers off of it. Looks really clean, just couldn't get those tank decals off (damn clearcoat). Either way, your bike still looks great (it's a 6R after all ) and I'm sure you'll be very pleased with the Yosh pipe. Has a great throaty sound. Just make sure you get the race and not the zyclone. I hear the zyclone is quieter than stock.

I understand the tank decals.. I ended up repainting mine. .then said fuck it and did some body work to the tail. removed my grab handles and got that painted too. pain in the ass but worth it.. looks great! Currently it's sitting in my garage on front and rear stands because I finished polishing my front wheel and need to get both wheels balanced. We're getting 4 to 7 inches of snow today so I'm in no hurry.I'll put updated pics of the bike up monday when I have it back together. I also polished the frame, underail and lots of odds and ends

p.s. I'll make sure I have a pic of my buddy's 02 yellow next to my 02 green. .the green definately looks faster.

Nice bike! The one I bought that is still at the dealer is yellow also, but black wheels. Anyone have any suggestions for an exhaust? I want something that you can hear, but not crazy... if you know what I mean. Thanks
