Kawasaki doesn't list a manufacturer colour code... but if you check the color-rite site listed above you'll find the 2003 Candy Lightning Blue to have a Color Rite Top of 3710 and a Color Rite Base of 1999. Otherwise you'd have to get a pro auto painter to match it...

Did a little checking and yes;

2003 is Candy LIGHTNING Blue, 2004 is Candy THUNDER Blue. [8D]

That's what I thought. I wanted the blue 636 when I was shopping but was totally turned off by the shade of blue for the 03's. What's weird is, I met TRIPLEA RYDAH a couple weeks ago (he has the blue 03), and his paint looks much different than other 03's I've seen. It's not blotchy or anything, just noticeably deeper. Hmmmmm...

Gary, are you suggesting that they are using different shades between the (04) 6R & (04) 10R?

I don't remember if they had a blue 04 at the show or not, but it's deeper than the 03.
