For those who have a 2 Bros. exhaust, which did you go with, the C2 or C5? The C4 is out for me, and I can't find anyone local that carries them in stock. I know their site says C2 for 600's and C5 for larger bikes and they all sound the same...trying to get a general concensous.

I have "PM"ed a couple of people on this question and thanks for your response.

Thanks fellas!

try starcycle.com they should have what you want. They had mine and they advertise what they have in stock and their prices are excellent

Oh also that pic doesnt do the xmetal pipe any justice. Now that I've ridden with it on it has turned a nice golden color

I have the same pipe, and it is awesome. Great sound and looks kick ass also. Plus, that carbon fiber does one hell of a job keeping the pipe a lot cooler than a stock or titanium IMHO.[:M6]

I've got the C2 Carbon Fiber. I think it looks the best.
Another guy I know with a 636 got the C5, which does sound the same, but does look too big for the bike.
Hope these pics of mine help you out...

Thanks for the input/pics guys. I think I am going to go with the C5 Carbon. Good point about the reduction in heat output, never thought about that.

matty: X-Metal CF3-nickel coated carbon fiber which turns an amber color after a few heat cycles

Just to update. I feel like a damn woman, can never make up my mind. I ordered the C2 Carbon from Parts411.com for $390. Directly from 2 bros. is like $460, and starcycle was a little bit more as well. Should receive it within 10 days. Will install slip-on and Sportech Chrome windscreen and post pics.

Thanks for everyones input!

Give OGWG Jack a pm, as he might have a sound clip. Unfortunately, the 2Bros site doesn't have any for Kawi's.
Personally, it sounds great: Not too tinny, not too annoying, a great balance of throatiness and whine, especially when you really get on it. Great burble when coming down from high rpm's, too.
You can't go wrong with it, plus it drops 5 pounds from the bike.

I went with the C2 because it just looked better in the above pics. The C5 is almost as big as the stock can and I hate that damn think. I went with carbon because it will throw out less heat like sgates mentioned. I have the silver 636. Decals off, flush mounts front and rear, anad Mtech super whites. I think the chrome windscreen and pipe will be a nice touch. Will polish out the outter part of the wheels as soon as I can keep my ass off of it long enough.

OGWG was supposed to send me that sound clip.[?]
