Both threads show some pictures of the final product, installed. Some of the Do it yourselfers over there have also posted pics of the installation process at home.
I've ordered R&G Racing sliders myself, based on some of the info in the above threads. They do not require cutting the fairings, and are available via links in some of the above threads.
Hmm, that kinda sucks - that thread had a nice set of pictures of someone installing the sliders at home on their own. Anyway, BRP in NC buys a lot of stuff in sets of 10 for discount prices and resells them state-side, if you're interested. His website is here:
