In short, I'm a nut case. Here's the longer version:

So far I've had 55 motorcycles and 16 scooters. This does not include three dirtbikes that we purchased for my son. My first motorcycle was an early 80's Kawasaki LTD550. My 2-wheel resume is as follows:

I started getting into motorcycles in the late 1980's. When I got out of the
Army in 2000 I attended the Motorcycle Mechanic's Institute in
Phoenix, AZ. I actually took courses there in 2000 and 2002 (with
concentrations in Harley-Davidson and Suzuki). Since then I have worked
off and on in the motorcycle industry (service tech, service manager,
parts guy). I currently work at a Honda dealership; but our sister dealership is a Kawasaki franchise.

I worked as a cornerworker at amateur road-race events back in the early
90s (mostly at Summit Point Raceway in West Virginia). Even though I've had all sorts of other bikes, I think I'm really more of a sportbike type guy.

In April of 2012 I participated in the Scooter Cannonballl. It was an eight-
day competition starting in Savannah GA and ending in San Diego CA. I
completed it on a 2009 Genuine Buddy 125 scooter, placing 23rd out of
50 starters.

I've also done a couple neat motorcycle rides. The first was a tour through
Europe and the Alps in 1997, and the second was a series of cross
country trips I made in 2005.

I loosely follow MotoGP. My current bike is a Honda CBR500R. I like it quite a bit, but am considering trading for a Ninja 1000.

Hello neighbors!

I used to spectate at Gateway quite a bit, but haven't been up there in about four years. I am on the e-mail list for corner workers, but since I work six days a week....
