If you try to buy the parts new, no. If you pick up the parts off eBay, maybe. There are some wheels on there now. There is ususally plastic, too. What kind of shape is the plastic in. Empire GP can usually fix the plastic and paint the whole bike for about $1,100.

take a look at that.

how many miles are on the bike? if under say 8000, i would say you got a good deal if it wasn't wrecked. the blue book on my bike (98 ZX6R, no damage) is $5050, but that is with a suggested 17,000 miles and i only have 12,000 on mine. you shouldn't have a hard time getting all your plastic for under 1400. check the main page for this site and localbar listed some numbers in there for OEM parts. i think the 3rd number down gave me a price of $299 + shipping for brand new painted OEM left/right lower for a 98 (which fits a 99). the biggest problem you may have is getting them painted for a decent price if you have buy a bunch of different colored plastic. although if you keep looking on ebaymotors.com, you will have a good chance of finding an entire set for a 99, there is always a bunch of plastic for sale on that site.

another thing you may want to think about... search the topics on this board, i believe somebody on here said that they put like 01-02 plastics on their 98 or 99, may want to ask them what is involved in a conversion like that... i've seen full sets of plastic for the newer 6R's more often then then past model years on ebay.

hope some of this helps.

i went through the same thing and i have all my fairings(and i mean all of them) i spent roughly $450<img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>. all i need is to have them painted by a pro. i tried but i prefer my bkie looking almost new. now all YOU will need is patience. good luck and any questions just post a new topic. i spent $4800 for my 2001 zx6r with 1900 miles.
