Hey everyone,
I'm new here. Been in to bike since I was younger and now in my 30's I've finally passed my test and ride to work every day. No matter what kind of a day I have sitting on the bike always makes me smile. 😆
I have an older ER5, I don't weigh much, and I have a rear suspension question for you guys.
My bike currently has 350mm rear shocks that are pretty tatty. I was looking to replace them with new and noticed that a lot of shocks available for the ER5 are around 300mm. How much difference would that 50mm make? Should I stick with the 350mm or would it be ok to fit the 300mm?

Thank you for any assistance you can provide,

Kind regards,
Shawn

Isn't that like 2 inches? If so that's huge. It will totally change the characteristics of the bike in turns unless you lower the front end as well. Then you will have less ground clearance. Unless you have trouble reaching the ground already, which I think that's what the 300mm shocks are for, I'd stick with stock.
