Hi everyone! I'm new here. I'm from Quebec, Canada and I just bought a Kawasaki ER6n 2013 brand new. I have used it 100 km and I want to know something. The bike is new and the brakes are not braking very well. Is that normal because they are new or not?!

Thanks!

I know when you install new brake pads you have to break them in. i think its something like get up to 25 then brake hard to a full stop. go up to 35 brake hard to a full stop. so on up to like 50. not sure exactly what the process is.
but i do know that if you do it wrong you can "glaze over" your brake pads and they wont grip right.
not sure if this is an issue with a brand new bike or not.

could be air in the lines or like 5 other things that could cause this issue.

if its brand new take it back to the dealer. tell them the brakes don't feel right and they shouldn't have a problem checking the bike out
