Hi
Been riding motorcycles for over 40 years and have owned my Z for 25 years. Hoping someone here can help with a query? It’s a Z750H (1980 US model). I numbered and removed the crank conrods a while back during a full strip down and now can’t remember which way round they face - bearing tangs to the front or the rear?
Any guidance gratefully received.
Cheers

Thanks MB - I’d seen that post for Honda’s and TBH that would have been my choice as I’m sure I would have numbered them in that orientation. Unfortunately no spit hole to thrust option!
If it tries to run backwards I’ll know I was wrong 😆😆

Ok - so a bit of searching revealed this picture in the Haynes manual - with the crank in upper casings and rods facing down the big end cap is oriented by the casting marks putting the bearing tangs to the front (exhaust) side.
