Well, here is the finished product, I am still debating on decals however. The ones on the tank I feel are too small. I also want to get ZX-6R stickers for the lowers too, and a new smoked windscreen.

Lookin good!
For the ZX-6R or Ninja stickers, I like the carbon look ones, they make you a little different then everyone else..

Your bike is looking good.
So....wasn't your bike a '99?
Did you do the paint yourself?

Bike is a 2000. I removed all the body work, all the decals, and the tank and had a body shop do the paint and remove dents from the tank. I have Carbon fiber look decals on the way to put on the tank and lower fairing. Will post new photos when I get em!
Do you mind sharing how much the paint job cost?
Obviously, I'm in need of one...

I paid a local body shop $350 plus tax to paint the parts, including removing the dents from the tank. From what I have heard though, that was a kick ass price! <img src=icon_smile_tongue.gif border=0 align=middle>
Yeah, that was a really good price.

Hey is there any part of that bike you didn't paint? Seriously. I'm wondering how good the colour match was. I'm about to paint mine... so if you could spare a paint code.... that would be SUPER cool.

Are the wheels done with the new paint too???
Hmmmm.....paint code, well thats a tough one, seems Kawasaki isn't to eager to part with that. They list the supplier for their paint as Colorite. You can order the paint directly from them in any amount, but the body shop I used was sure they could match it. My paint/body guy took a lot of time to match the color, had a bit of difficulty actually. They ended up sending one of my parts with their 3M paint rep guy to match it for them. I will tell you this much, they did a perfect job. I didn't repaint the front fender and the wheels are stock green and everything matches perfectly. The guy I took it to is a perfectionist (like myself) so I knew it would turn out good, and it did.

If it was that tough, I would've asked for the can. For touch-ups, lowsides and what not.

I used a better camera in the after photo, that is why the color is so much better.

Your bike definitely looks sweeeeet with the new paint and carbon fiber decal kit. I like the fact that your bike isn't cluttered with stickers and I defenitely don't like the stock looks - like the before pic. Oh, and hey....nice beemer too!

If it ain't broke don't fix it.......yeah right!!
Here is a shot of my other "toy"<img src=icon_smile_wink.gif border=0 align=middle>

Ahh... Love the bike but hate the car :)
Can't stand 'Rustangs', and on that generation the fake ram air especially.

my old 1984 Transam even had real air induction!

(Dont mind me I'm just anti-ford, GO GM!)
