Motor from the ZX10R, also that tach/speedo is a work of art !!

Did you also see the news about the possible ZX8R, the 636 is supposed to be dropped in 2008. That would make sense as it's not legal to race. The ZX8R would make the perfect bike. Lighter than the GSXR750, w/ more power, but not overpowering like the ZX10R.

Also would have a great tie-in to the new 800cc MotoGP bikes..

I really love the looks of this bike minus the rad covers I had a green z1000 and it really needed an update lol I might test ride one of these.

When will these be for sale? Anyone know? I had my 636 stolen and am debating whether to take an 06 for cheaper or wait (until January???) for the 07 to hit the floors.

I really hope this thinjg is putting down more power than the FZ1, and is not only marginally more powerful than the 1st model...it's a waste otherwise IMHO. The looks are marvelous...but I'll keep my $$$ in wait 'til I see some performance stats.
