MotoNewb about to buy a old OHC 400. I think its possibly a 1974? I cant really find any information on it. Whats the difference between a KZ and OHC? What does OHC stand for? What would you estimate the price of this bike in this condition? Needs new tires, seat, and more. I was told it was running when it was parked (I don't know how long ago). I haven't checked out the gas tank yet. What should I look for when pricing it?

OHC usually stands for overhead cam.

I would have a mechanic, that is old enough to have worked on these years ago, inspect it, and tell you what they think it is worth.

An old bike might cost more than it is worth to get it running, especially if you want it to look like new.
