New to the scene (been riding my bike about 2 months), from advice from my Dad, bought a 09 Ninja 250 to start, plans to upgrade later.

Welcome! From what I hear there's some good roads out near Baton Rouge. Highway 1 out in Avoyelles is good too I think.
