HEY FELLAS,

IM NEW TO THE FORUM BUT A LONG TIME RIDER. IVE OWNED THE OTHER 3 BRAND JAP BIKES BUT JUST BOUGHT MY FIRST KAWASAKI. I PICKED UP A 97 6R WITH ABOUT 2,200 MILES ON IT. I HAVEN'T HAD A CHANCE TO RIDE IT MUCH WITH ALL THE SHITTY WEATHER HERE IN CINCINNATI. I ALSO NEED SOME NEW RUBBER AS THE BIKE STILL HAS THE ORIGINAL 6 YEAR OLD BATTLAXES ON IT. SO FAR I COULDN'T BE HAPPIER WITH IT. IDE LIKE TO HERE FROM THE OTHER 95-97 6R OWNERS ABOUT THEIR LIKES AND DISLIKES. MY EXPERIENCE IS THAT ALL BIKES HAVE THERE STRONG POINTS AS WELL AS THERE LITTLE QUIRKS.
