I bought a 1994 ZX9R.

Problem: Was in storage for a year, now bike won't start. Once in a while it'll idle but barely, then it shut down.

I put some carb cleaner additive in the tank and now it won't turn over at all.

I used a battery starter/charger but it still won't start.

I was thinking of trying to spray some starter fluid in the carb.

Have patience with me guy, I'm new to this.

Thanks

Because the bike stood still that long I should clean the bike inside out, refresh the oil, fuel, brakefluids, coolant,if you do that you'll now for sure it isn't one of them

After you get a decent battery on it, and check it for spark, pull the carbs off and tear them down and clean them.

Nake sure the Fuel is truned on!! Does the gas smell old? get some fresh plugs in there!! How much carb cleaner did u put in there? If you put the whole bottle, drain it and start again with new plugs.
