Hi all. I'm still checking out the site, a lot to see! I was given a '77 Kawasaki KZ750 that has spent a great deal of its life in storage. Long story short, a friend of mine had acquired it and decided he wasn't interested, so he asked me to junk it for him. Well, it was way too nice for that. 12,000 miles, extremely clean. So I've cleaned it up and am getting ready to fire it up. Compression is 150+ in each, spark is good, next step is going through the fuel tank ,lines and carbs. I'm 62, had a lung transplant 8 months ago, and have never ridden. But its given me something to work on and enjoy. My docs may shudder at the thought of me riding the bike, and I may never. On the other hand, I didn't go though the transplant to just sit in a chair the rest of my life. So we'll see.
