Long term disuse and uncovered outdoor storage.....a quick death knell for any motorcycle. Verbal abuse is due the offender who allowed this transgression.

You post you replaced the fuel pump but....is it actually *pumping*? Have you verified? Is there a factory fuel filter? Replaced?

You've drained ALL the fouled fuel that was in the tank and throughout the entire fuel system? ...and replaced with 100% fresh fuel?

Those would be the obvious beginning service checks.

stator? What prompts you to look at the stator in midst of an obvious fuel system issue?

I'd urge you to get into your service manual section on fuel pump diagnosis...your answer will be found there. Very possibly a fault within the fuel pump relay...kind of the "brain" for the pump.

PS "looks good" generally doesn't cut the mustard in regards to electrical items integrity...specific tests exist using multimeters and such. Again, the service manual is your friend.

You DO have a service manual, right?

Yes I've downloaded the service manuel for the bike thanks for all the help and quick response I checked the stator because I've heard that when fuel injectors are not spraying enough fuel it could be cause by a weak stator

I'd get the airbox back on and retry........you are reporting fuel, air and spark, and answer "not a problem" for every possibility I've brought up.

Aside from the reported neglect, did you do any electrical work, part removal, mods or anything to precipitate the issue?

At this point, I'd suggest referring to the service manual which should provide a point by point troubleshooting path.

There were some aftermarket LEDs from China that I removed off of the bike when I bought it that I figured that could be contributing to an electrical issue but they're off the bike and off the battery so I really don't think it's an electrical issue I'm going to put the airbox on on and give it a try hopefully that's it and then I guess I'll just have to refer to you the service manual

So I got the bike running for a bit but them it died unless I poured fuel down this nipple on the throttle body which had a hose on my bike but not in the pic here from the service manual. My question is what is that nipple for? Is it connected to the fuel tank in any way? Also both hoses on the left side of the fuel tank are gone im assuming those are like overflow h

can you explain these missing hoses you report? Did YOU remove them, or a previous owner?

In any event, its obvious... hands have been in the throttle body/fuel system...you've got a manual, you need to review and assure everything is where it belongs. Stop trying for the miraculous quick fix by added fuel....look for the root problem. Very likely those previous hands disconnected or removed something critical.

Precisely what manual are you using? Surprising that idle speed procedure is not there. And a proper, step by step diagnostic...eliminating point by point and progressively getting more in depth....to reveal again....the root of the problem as opposed to temporary shooting of fuel into open barbs. Like the use of "starting fluid"...that is NOT a fix, nor proper diagnostic procedure.

how can you report "FI's spraying" and also report the bike only running when fuel is manually sprayed into that barb?

Something not adding up here.

Ok, so specifically what manual are you using?

You might be in over your head here bc this doesnt make a lot of sense

You said it starts and runs on starter fluid which means you have spark. But then you said you confirmed that the fuel is getting sprayed into the cylinders? So you don't have spark now but you did before?

Bc if you have both and its not working its probably going to be your compression
