Today, Sunday the 15th, the temperature got up to 65 in Oklahoma City...needless to say after about 3 weeks of pretty cold and rainy weather...the bikes were in full force.
I get this call from a guy I met at school saying they are getting some people to ride today and wanted to know if I wanted to come...of course I do. This will be the first time I've riden in a group larger than 3.
Ends up there was about 60 supersport bikes meeting at a local hooters resturant. At first, about of 60 bikes, there was only me and another guy who had ninjas. I was very disappointed. All there was was R6s and R1s and GSXRs...and a couple CBRs. After about an hour of riding along on the freeway, we exit off and get to this point where there is a long stretch of even pathed road, perfect for doing tricks. Everyone parks and the tricksters begin showing off. Well, me and the other ninja guy don't really trick, so we sat there posing our ninjas while everyone kinda smercked about us having ninjas and saying stuff like, "ninjas are the worst trick bikes ever". We said nothing back.
After about 30 minutes of watching R6s and R1 and GSXRs doing mad tricks...up comes 3 guys...all on 6Rs. Me and my new found friend were like...hell yeah! The new ninja dudes see us and park next to us. We exchange of few words of bike talks...mods, models...ect...bla bla. Then these guys decide to start getting out there and tricking. MAN ALIVE, THESE NINJA RIDERS WERE BETTER THAN ANYONE ELSE OUT THERE. They were pulling off AMAZING shit and I know what everyone else was thinking....are they really on ninjas? Yes they were and they were BAD ASS MOTHER FUCKERS!! I was never so proud to own a ninja in my life!
Anyway, if I would have known that I would end up having a day like that...I would have brought my camera, but since I didn't, you'll have to take my word for it.
