I went to ride my bike this morning and when I flipped the ignition switch over and fired the starter it engaged for a few seconds and then went dead. At this point the gauge was completely dark. I flipped the key a few more times and it came on but was dim with it fading in and out of brightness. I tried bump starting it a few times with no luck. I just pulled the battery and checked the charge, it looks to be fully charged... so I'm out of ideas.

Any one else have an issue like this before? Bike is stock besides a Micron slip-on.

Was able to jump the bike with another battery. Guess even though the charger said the battery was charged it was toast.

New battery on the way!

You might want to test the rectifier/regulator and the stator as well. If one of them is bad, they won't charge the battery, and you will have the same problem after a couple days with the new battery. Ask me how I know. :D
