Noisy transmssion when bike is warm?

I have had this annoying problem with my 96' bike pretty much from when I bought it some months ago. When the bike is warm and had a pretty good blast, it seems to delevop a lot of drive train noise. Kinda like a buzzing/whining sound, especially on left hand cornering. This noise dissapears if I engage the clutch. The bike's done 14,000 miles on the original chain, so I thought it may have been just c&s wear. I have just had new c&s fitted by my local Kawa dealer. This has helped only a little, but the noise is still very noticable. They checked my clutch and it seems to be ok. I did not notice any clutch slip anyway. Any ideas, as this is spoiling an otherwise great bike.

Not sure, but it depends on what the noise is? I say as long as the transmission/bike runs ok then I wouldn't worry about it. Eventually you'll need to replace the clutch plates. I have ~15K on my 01 and no problems yet. Make sure you have oil level proper. Chain is usually the noisest thing I notice but you already ruled that out. My buddy thrashes his bike around so of course his makes more noises than mine.
