I was installing a set of hids in my 06 zx6r

when I installed the low beam it worked fine - when I installed the high beam the lights turned on for a second and then blacked out?

are these bikes not capable of running low and high beam hids?

If this is a fuse where would I find it???

Fuse blew. Upgrade to bigger.

fuse didnt blow!!! i have hids on my 05 put them one with the key off, once pluged in turn key on bump the starter with high beems on let the hids warm up for about five to ten seconds then start your bike it will power them fine its the drop in voltage when you hit the key that switches them off same on my freinds gsxr they just need to power down before you start your bike

I'd get a wiring harness that taps your battery directly. They are around $20 and most HID retailers sell them.
