Anyone have any on a zx6r??? I just wondering because i am about to fit one to mine <img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle> Time to teach the 1 litter guys a lesson <img src=icon_smile_shock.gif border=0 align=middle>

Why you say expensive grenade??

Proper a/f will be achived thru the wet system the motor should take a 50 shot no prob with the proper exhaust flow it should be ok. I am not only bolting a shot to it i am not crazy <img src=icon_smile_wink.gif border=0 align=middle> The bike is torn down as of yesterday. Some custom Head work (some extrude and hone will be done to finish off) will be done removal of all emission stuff. Along with the ceramic coating of the pistons. I am not goin to ride around with this thing cranked open 24/7 but i think i should be safe. Possible jack knife of crank if it is need or even worth it.

The bike should lay down at leat 175 whp with the shot i can't see why not and the is kinda low i am figuring. Of course with it tuned like tits.<img src=icon_smile_8ball.gif border=0 align=middle><img src=icon_smile_8ball.gif border=0 align=middle><img src=icon_smile_8ball.gif border=0 align=middle><img src=icon_smile_8ball.gif border=0 align=middle>

I don't think the bottom end will take it. This is essentially doubling the hp that it was designed to take. If you want to run in the 9's why don't you just buy an old ZX-9R and put ZX-6R stickers. It will probably last forever and you can get a nice one for less than $5,000.

Unless you use some kind of progressive system, 50 will be way too violent to be useable.

Ouh of course Progessive (not decided on controller yet) else it will just loop and it will only be used up top 4-5-6. And Violet is a understatment. Why no 9. Well i like the qualities of my zx6 i just want to know if i want to i can smoke the 1liter guys. The bike will make well over a 100 whp with out it on. I am not goin blind into this i have help from a friend who went to motorcylce school and was on yamaha's race team. And i have alot of experience with blown nos injected cars:)

And for the bottom end with the proper a/f i will have no prob.I am not maken a dragster but a street racer $$.. Everything will be hinden so the average r1 will have no idea:)

what about bolting on a turbo? you would have some lag, but there may be a way to control that.

I mean 14lbs boost shouldn't be too much right? And what, that might add a good 25-30 HP? engine should be pretty realiable right? I mean the zx-6r engine is already pretty damned durable from what I hear.

be interesting if someone would make a zx-6r sleeper...

I would love a T:) but i would also be dead i think. 14psi what are you nuts 4-5 is plenty for me plus no way the motor will take 14. 5 is prob it with stock compression. As far as control for such a thing AVCR apexi which can base boost on gear. For realiable umm i am not sure how that would work many factors to take into consideration. I personally love turbos but for a bike i am sorry i must past right now:(

I have been running nitrous for about 7 months now... I opted to go with a 25 shot.... which actually dyno out to be 21 hp gain.... It is activated via a throttle activated switch to only come on at wide open throttle... I use a progressive controller to start at 45% and over the course of 3 seconds open it up to 100%. Though I also use water injection, my bike has been running great with no signs of damage for over 4800 miles. The major downfall is having to refill the bottle every week or so...(better than my water injection system which requires refilling the resevoir every time I gas up :)
