Someone I work for has an old Kawasaki OHC 400 I took a interest in. I need help identifying the year and a price range for its condition. Needs new tires, seat, and probably more. You can see some parts are not original. Not sure the condition of the gas tank but I was told the bike was running when it was parked(Not sure how long ago, Owner passed away). What does OHC stand for? whats the difference between KZ and OHC if any. As it sits what would you pay?

OHC stands for overhead camshaft, which describes the design of the engine and has nothing really to do with what model of bike that is. That bike looks fairly rough, so I wouldn't take it on as a project unless I had the time, money, space, and mechanical knowledge to work on it. Pricewise, I am going to say not much, probable less than $600
