book says (for 08 zx-6r) 23 foot-pounds of torque for oil filter which is 1 more pound than the drain bolt (once again manual specs). however, dealer changed my brake in period oil and the filter was very close to loose when I check it out cleaning the bike. if im headed for a track day should I spin it on with that much torque due to high pressure at high rpms..should I always torque to 23 ft/lbs? i know the book says so but 23 ft/lbs is like...lata torque. any experinced guys willing to spill me some knowledge. thanks
