If all that came out is the ceramic core you can reach back in and get the metal part which is the part that has the hex on it anyway. If the metal hex part came out with the ceramic core you need to go in with a screw extractor on the end of an extention and 12 point socket that will fit the end of the screw extractor. give it a tap with a hammer to seat it and then back out the remains of the sparkplug.

That's a pretty common occurrence, as long as the hex part is still there you can get it out easily enough.

Hello.

Today I was replacing the spark plugs, overtightened one and the metal part of the plug (the part you screw in) GOT STUCK in the cylinder (the plug broke in two). I managed to get the ceramic part out, but the metal part is screwed in tightly. Anyone been in shit like that before? How do I get the thing out?

the hex part came out, but the spiral remained in the cylinder. i managed to get it out today with a screw-extractor. luckily the engine head was not damaged.

thanx for your answers.
