I used the pen to touch up some nicks and scratches on my tank. It came out great but I went the extra mile and did some wet sanding with 3k grit and buffed afterwards with some 3m cutting compound. The paint from my pen came out pretty fast and left the 'bloby look', but the light wet sanding after it was dry took car of that.
Yes and make sure you use light pressure and plenty of water when wet sanding. Don't go overboard on the sanding. Any good buffing compound and a soft cloth will shine it right back up. Good luck, man.
Anyone try the colorrite on the fairings? The previous owner dropped it, and it has some small dot scratches in the right fairing. Not sure if I should get the pen or the jar. Is it worth getting bundle with the sand paper and other accessories?
