yes, the valve is controlled by engine vacuum. two hoses go to the valve, a vacuum line, and the air feed line.

I see. Thats what I thought, thx for the straight forward answer.

Here's what I did.

1. Removed all smog and KLEEN equipment.

2. Section of emissions hose and assorted vacuum caps.

3. I cut a section of hose to go between the pair valves.
Once the KLEEN device is removed and the hose is installed, the pair valves are essentialy disabled.
I then capped the 3 ports on the TB's with vacuum caps shown here.

4. Since I removed all the smog equipment as well.
I re-routed the fuel evap vent to the blue port on the gas tank and pluged the red port.
