Got my parts back tonight, the guy did an awesome job. Just finished putting the tank on and the tail piece. Am still waiting on my new headlight before I put on the rest of the parts, but they look great! I love the all green, looks like a 2003, well kinda! When my light comes in I will post photos of the finished product. Still gotta decide on what type of Sticker to put on the tank and fairing. Gonna keep it simple however.

If you like race replica's the web site of the Kawasaki-Eckl team
has now reduced the decal/sets price and moved them to the specials
section. I think they're $75euro for a set that does 2 bikes.
You can have a Andrew Pitt '01 world SuperSports replica
If you are interested or anyone else the web site is

Bob Brown at Empire GP finished painting mine and sent me the photos. It is all Kawasaki green with just a black "Kawasaki" on the tank. I ought to get it back in about a week.

What did you have painted and how much did it cost...if you don't mind sharing.

I had the tank and all the plastic painted plus some minor crack repair for $750 plus $90 shipping. I paid shipping up which ran about $80. It is one color with only a "Kawasaki" decal on the tank. Let me see if I can figure out how to attach some pictures. O.K., I stumped. Can you attach photos?

You can't attach a photo. You can only provide a link to a photo. So if you have a website where you can upload the photo to, then you can link to the photo here using the tags.

I had all plastic painted, tail, front fairing and both side lowers, a couple of dents removed from the tank and the whole mess was shot Kawasaki green and clearcoated, including the tank. $375.00 for everything. I can post some photos tonight, although I am waiting for my new headlight to put the upper back on.

Sounds like a good deal. I counldn't find anyone around here that would paint a bike at a good price. None of them had any experience fixing plastic. The Empire GP bunch are specialist. All they do is repair plastic and paint bikes. The bad part for me is that is cost nearly $200 in shipping alone.

Well, here is the finished product, I am still debating on decals however. The ones on the tank I feel are too small. I also want to get ZX-6R stickers for the lowers too, and a new smoked windscreen.
