Passenger Grab Rails

Does anyone have a good solution for covering up the holes left by removing the passenger grab rails. For now I have two pieces if tape together with the sticky side longer then the shinny to adhere to the plastic inside. For the outside holes, I just have a piece of black tape covering the holes. I love the look without the rails but not enough to replace the plastic. Any other ides?

I did a search on this but didn't come up with anything, sorry if it's a repost.

To fill the holes,I used the plugs that can be found in the top half of the air box. Black, round, just the right lip to hold them in place.....fairly cheap too.....part number 92066-1389.

Still in place and no glue or anything to hold them into place either.

It worked for me.

This works for theholes on the sides.....the two behind the seat are still required to have a bolt go through them....kepps things from rattling.

could always fiberglass them from the back, then a little filler ont he front then paint...

I have a question. Will be putting these on and was wondering if you have any problems with it leaking into the trunk? I just recieved my solo seat which looks awesome and this would finish it off.[

I don't get caught in the rain much.....but if you are concerned.....a little silicone on the backside would keep the water out and help to hold in place too...not that they have fallen out, but they for sure would not go anywhere then.

It gives a good seal to begin with.

Why do people hate the hand rails so much? I like them personally. It seems to me like alot of people spend alot of time trying to get their bike to look like everyone elses. Its a Ninja! Keep it looking like one!

i dont want MY bike looking like everyone elses ninja. yeah, its a ninja, just cuz its polished, no grabrails, exhaust, windshield, etc. doesnt make me not want to own a ninja. you have to make it yours.

I don't care if it's a ducati.. I took those grab rails off because they made the rear end look cluttered.. take off the grab rails and throw on an undertail.. you will be surprised how much it makes the bike look better...
