So I have a Power Commander 5 that came with the bike when I got it. After replacing the fuel pump and assembly I decided to take it out since it seemed the previous owner couldn't do anything right on the bike. Recently I decided to plug it back in to see if it does make a difference. Well, temps kept climbing as I left it running in my garage and they fans refused to come on. Even unplugged the temp switch on the radiator and jumped, but nothing. Turned the bike off just before it got in the red, high on the temps. Unplugged it, turned it back on and both fans came on instantly. I followed the instructions for the install and plugged it to the engine plug on the right most side of the bike. Any way I can check to know if it's the right plug though? Plugs weren't in their plug holders, but positioned in order though and wire colors seemed to match too. Bike sounds stronger, idled smoother, and rev hard and faster with it plugged in. Only issue was fans wouldn't come on.
