So being a die hard GSXR guy, previously owning two Gsxr600's, i finally gave in and got a 2011 zx6r black/flatblack/red. I previously had a 2009 gsxr600 but i crashed it in the mountains and vowed to never ride again. But man riding a bike is like an incurable disease and i was itching for another one so i got this bad boy after my friend let me ride his 2009 zx6r and man the power was far ahead of my gsxr. i was impressed to say the least!! Barely have 600 miles in the break in period and I am happier than ever! I dont know if its because I am back on two or if its the zx..but im back on two! Thats all that matters! Just wanted to say whats up guys and introduce myself and look forward to researching and finding all the answers to questions i may have on this forum. Hopefully this is just as great as the gixxer forums.....CHEERS! Safe Riding!

Glad you made it back on two wheels. I agree it is hard to just not ride again as I had a pretty bad crash as well.

Welcome! Plenty of info in the 6R forum.

Thanks guys for the welcome. and yah i agree with the drama lol...speaking of which...........

I think driving a car and driving a motorcycle is two different things. Obvious difference is the amount of protection. Crash in a car going 20-30 mph and most likely no injuries. Crash on a bike going that speed and you can break bones.....agree?

Well that depends

you could lowside at 20-30mph and just have scratches

and in a car, a drunk driver could slam into you at 20-30mph and crush/decapitate you

i'm happy that you are back on 2 wheels man, but if you fall you gotta get right back up :p (after healing of course)
