OK, here she is.

A few things.

I suck at taking photos
I suck at HTML
My lighting was bad
And bike was dirty when I took the photos. I'll have her polished up for the next pics.

First a pic of the bike overall:

A list of my mods so far:

Black spun frame sliders by Lightning Performance Products
Dark Smoke windscreen by Zero Gravity
Passion red hugger and chain guard combo by Eurobikes

I did my own shave of the tail and am using the stock turn signals. I also raised the rear license plate by removing the top refector, drilling an extra hole and flipping the license plate mounting bracket upside down before re-installing the license plate.

I have valve stems and license plate holder screws that are black and have billiard 8-balls on them. (No, pic sorry)

My next mod will be an undertail, probably by Ermac. I am undecided on what to do with the front and rear turn signals.

The Windscreen (Love it, really cuts down on the glare on the cluster)

Frame Sliders (My GF thought you put your feet on them)

Rear Hugger (Uses existing hardware)

Rear Hugger Opposite Side (Needs one replacement screw for the brake line bracket, which was included)

The Shaved Undertail (I am gonna remove the reflectors and brackets next)

Well, that's my baby.

One more:

Again she's a little dirty (rained here Thursday) so she needs a bath. Hope you guys like it. There are a lot of sweet ass bikes on this site and I am so glad I got a Ninja. Best 600 out there if you ask me.

Also, if you guys can suggest any other modifications (except a new can, keeping the stock can as I ride a lot at night and don't want to wake up/piss off neighbors) to help trick it out more let me know. I am open to suggestions.

Hey Flash,

Looks sweet! I'm curious about how you did the tail shave? Could you maybe take some more pics from behind the bike? I've got a 2000 6R but I don't want to spend the big bucks for an undertail kit, I like the look you got there.

Also any tips you could give me on how you actually did it would be greatly appreciated!

put some flush mounts on the front, and some short stalks on the back and I've got the same bike in yellow. Hugger and all :D.

I am up in arms about what front and rear signals to get and also how to go about it along with the undertail, so I am still workign on that one.

Ken, I like your idea though.

Sellika, I can do a write up the best I can and tell ya what I did. And also what problems I ran into.

hey flash-

Where did you get your frame sliders, and did you have to cut the fairing to install them? Do you know where i can get a pair that doesn't require cutting the fairing?

Hey Sppd,

The sliders are from Lightning Performance Products and I don't know if they have a URL, but I ordered them from Cycle Gear and they were like 69 bucks. I liked the brushed look. (Or spun, or whatever you call it.) These also were real beefy, unlike the midget ones they had there in the store.

You don't have to cut the fairing. You take out the bolt holding the fairing into the frame. Pull out a little rubber grommet dealy and then push the slider on. You use the bolts that come with the sliders. Some sliders use the stock bolt. I also used some Bolt-Loc fluid on it.

Since I took those pics I removed the red reflectors on the side of the rear tail. I also got my rear short stalks.

I am gonna hold off on installing the short stalks until I get my undertail.

Flash, another thing you could do to your bike that I did to mine, I took out all the exterior bolts(gas tank bolts, Rear set bolts, rear grap handle bolts, etc.) and I Polished them up on a buffer. It's a really suttle change but it looks pretty damn good and doesn't cost you anything if you have access to a buffer.
