I doubt it as they're new and it's winter in most places but I figured I'd check anyway. I have heard they're pretty darn good. Excellent grip and high life, better than the 010's etc.

I have not tryied the pirellis yet I just put on a new set Michlen pilot sports on mine this thing falls into the turns better then the dunlops did.

nathanielsavaiki, do they work better than the 208's? I had 207's on and then I got 208s. They grip a little better than the 207s but the difference isnt overwhelming. The pilot sports were one of my choices. I heard they weren't good in the cold weather so i went with the dunlops.

Im sorry i should have said that i had Dunlop 207's. The 208's are much better im sure and I havent had any real problems with the pilots in the cold even with the tires not fully up to temp I can still hold some decent lean angel's

I won't buy Dunlops, not that they're terrible or anythign, but IMO the Bridgestone and Michelin products are better. But I've heard good stuff about the Diablo's...but it was in a magazine. I wanted to hear some firsthand exp with 'em.

I just bought a set of Diablo's. They are going on on Saturday. Riding season is just around the corner so i will post my opinion on them soon.

the diablos are nice. personally i like the profile and grip of the supercorsas better. the diablos are the way to go if you want a decent sticky tire to last. but if you spend a few more dollars, supercorsas are the best. but you lose alot of tire life depending on the riding that you do.

Apples and oranges, really.

The Diablo is a good road tire, and the Supercorsa is a good track tire. Like any proper track tire, the Supercorsa will heat-cycle and go off after the starts and stops of much road riding. If you ride only on the road, the Diablo is a good choice.

I tried out my new Pirelli Diablo about a week ago. They are much better than the Dunlops 207's I had. I really feel a difference in turns. It the Dunlops always felt they were losing grip in the lean, the Pirelli's don't have that feel at all.

I had dunlop D207's, but now I have Bridgestone BT012 rear and a BT019 (which are made for the ZX6R and Z1000) on the front and they are fantastic. Can't speak for the Pirelli's though.

IMHO Diablo is very good road tyre for sport riding.

I've had a set of Diablos for about 7000 km now and they still feel very good and the profile is still the way it should be (thanks to trackdays and mostly riding twisties). There's slight cupping in fron tyre from the track abuse but no vibration so far.

They're also a pretty good tyre for occasional trackdays if you take it easy and don't try to hang on with guys wearing stickier rubber.

They easily generate knee down levels of grip in street riding, I got my knee down couple of times on my favourite twisties last autumn even when the air temp was less than 10 degrees Celsius. Same time my riding buddy struggled to get his Rennsports warm enough to work properly.

Seems that 2 for one campaign by Pirelli is really paying off for them. I hear of so many people buying these tires. Good to know they are good and affordable.

I ran the Diablos last half of last year on my 99 Daytona. I like the profile and the wear. The front is not quite as communicative as the 012ss' or the BT56ss' I ran on that bike previously but only veeeery slightly off. Grip is good for a street tire and I did one wet trackday on them without incident.
I'm doing a bit of a hybrid on my track only ZX6R. A standard Diablo rear (no 160 or 170 size in Pirelli track tires unless I go full DOT race tire), and a Diablo Corsa front which, for my level should be fine. I'll let you know how that works in Mid April[8D].

Ok, I got almost 500 miles on my new set of Diablos. I think they are great. It has been fairly cool weather (40-50) and the traction is noticibly better over the stock tires. I also like the way it falls into the corners. I would definatly recommend them.

Pirelli Diablo fronts are only available in following sizes:
110/70 ZR17
120/60 ZR17
120/70 ZR17
130/70 ZR17

I ended up getting the 70.. no noticable difference on the street. I haven't experienced them on the track yet.
