I finally got all of the paint off of the rear wheel but there are like white spots in some places that won't come off with anything. I don't know if I possibly faded the wheel somehow but I know I didn't let any stripper dry on the wheel either. I was thinking of wet sanding with 2000 grit paper. Any advice?

You can wet sand them with 2000/2500 grit wet/dry paper or use 0000 steel wool. Once you are done with that and happy with the results go get some Maguires "Billet" polish and use some elbow grease and they will polish right up.

I tried the lacquer thinner/ steel wool combo but it didn't take it off.
I did alittle wetsanding and it seems to be working though.
