Rode home in a thunderstorm/hailstorm after work this eve (Only gear I was wearing was the helmet & gloves...), when through some DEEP puddles/rivers/lakes at intersections and such. Didn't go down (even when going across smallish rocks washed across the road in some 2nd gear-speed curves - that's scary enough by itself!) - thank God! What do you all do after such rides? The site glass tells me there's no water in the crankcase, the engine never stalled, etc... I figure I need to clean/lube the chain, but, am I missing anything?

You got hit by it too, actually I sat the worst out at work. But was still soaked by the time I got home.

I usually do what you have so far, check the site glass that night, the weekend after I clean and lube the chain and check the airbox because of the ram air inlets, and give her a good bath. I have not ran into any reason to go further than that so far.

Hope this helps.

It's days like this I wish I still did drugs!
