i've heard from several guys down here and actually two shops that the power commander III usb will reset after 500 miles...seeing as that makes no sense to me i was curious if any of ya'll who have a PCIII can varify this for me...thanks!

That makes no sense to me. Call Dynojet Tech support and they will let you know for sure

When you say reset we talking about losing the information you have put into it?

Never had that issue, with the ZX or even my RC51 which has a serious power drain that resets the stock computer from time to time on start up...using dirtbike battery can do that after ot gets weak...

Would not be to concerned if i was you
