Just a quick question.....I got a 06 636 and I was wondering how everyone else goes abiout cleaning the rear shock on their bikes. I find mine gets pretty messy, with dirt and what not flicked up around it. It is hard to get at with a cloth so is it ok to spray it with water to get some of the crap off it or should I just keep trying to reach it best I can by hand?

Watch that stuff on your tires, I remember an old post where someone left their bike tire in a puddle of SG. Screwed up the tire, pretty funny store though...

If there's a Pep Boys in your area, they often have pressure washers on sale. Those things are invaluable. You can find them for under $150. All you need is a water supply and an electrical outlet nearby.

or try an air compressor. spray all the dirt out of shock and under engine. i would suggest investing in a rear hugger. saves shock from getting crapped up with dirt and stuff.
