If you are on a budget try Ebay or get on the girlie sites; buy and sell section.

OK guys, like most of you I love my girl and I love my bike! And lucky for me, the two mix very well. She loves to go for rides with me! But everytime I get on the bike with her, I'm nervous as all hell because she doesn't have a helmet or any other kind of gear and I really really don't want to get her hurt! (I will never find another woman like this either!!!!!) So, I've decided that it's time to show her how much I care and buy her a helmet and jacket of her own (for starters anyway)! [8D] So do any of you have any experience with or suggestions for certain women's jackets or other gear? I'm trying to stay budget-minded, but I just haven't found a lot of options! Thanks guys!

I just spent 300 buck on my wife the other day. Got a blue Joe Rocket pheonix jacket ($100) and a matching blue with "graphics" HJC helmet ($150). She loves them and it really makes them feel like you love em. I got major cool points that day.

Let me also give Joe Rocket gear a plug.

I use Joe Rocket gear and my girl went thru the Joe Rocket catalog and picked out stuff she liked. I also grabbed a set of gear for her that matched mine. She liked the matching gear for us when we ride together, and she has her own seperate gear for when she putts around town on her scooter.

You can get J.R. gear to match just about any bike. All the jackets have removeable warmth liners, have dual density removable armor and have a ton of pockets and also warm weather cooling vents.

Dude, that's your girl, protect her right. Get her a full face helmet, riding jacket and gloves. Make sure she wears jeans when you ride and closed toed shoes, preferrably high on the heal high tops or boots. Protect that pretty skin of hers. [:p]

You can get a great deal on HJC or KBC helmets on eBay, both in solids and patterns. I tend to like the HJC's a little better than the HJC.

I really prefer Shoei's and Aria's and you can get them on eBay too, but those can get pricey.

Good luck.
