1) silicon for what? Did it come with the exhaust?

2) loctite is for any bolt you dont want to loosen from vibration. Red will require heat to get loose. Blue does not.

3) Cylinder 1 is on the chain side of the bike. (left while sitting on it)

the exhaust came with the silicone and loctite but the instructions mention nothing of loctiting any of the bolts. it says put a bead of silicon on the connector tube. a bead...does that mean a small drop of it? the tube of silicon is pretty big.

Run a bead (like a line, about 1/8" thick)of silicone all the way around the pipe that goes into the collector. This acts as a gasket to seal the exhaust. The loctite should be for the bolts that hold each canister in place, this keeps the bolts from vibrating loose.

You will love the Two Brothers. I have had mine for about a year and get many compliments on it.
