What is the quickest 1/4 mile time any of you have posted, seen or heard of on a Ninja 650r? I am curious to see what sort of times are being posted around the country.

Nice GovnA, what kind of altitude were you running at? And yeah Jayson, you don't see too many of them at the strip...

haha, no no no, not me.

The "general consensus" is it can do 0-60 in 3 flat, and 1/4mi in 12 flat.

I have taken mine out to the local 8th mile, but I forget now exactly how fast it ran :(

I think I had a 7.9 pass, a 7.8, and two or three 7.6's.

This is at sea level, btw.

Right on- I pulled up my race data from 2009 and the best one I see is
1.696 60ft
4.977 330ft
7.741 1/8 @86.85mph
10.204 1000ft
12.239 1/4 @108.42mph
But that was at 7500ft above sea level...

The consensus of the mag tests on these bikes is 0 - 60 in about 3.9 stock. My Street Triple can't get anywhere near 3 with less weight and 100 bhp.

Good call, Rob, that sounds about right. Good 'ol 650's- they may not be fast but they are slow! ;)
