Well I think I am finally going to go racing! I am gonna pick up an old GS 500 and race it in the UL class in the CRA:D! I have a feeling I am gonna be real broke, real fast!! I realize I wasted 5 minutes of your life reading this but I am pretty excited.

Depends on what kind of bike youre racing freshman, thats part of the reason I choose UL instead of a MW bike. WAY easier on tires

It also depends on the track surface. Phillip Island is pretty easy on tyres, Wanneroo has a coarse surface and destroys them. But yes, riding around a racetrack will wear your tyres out much faster than riding on the road although on the track they oh, hang on, you've got twisty roads over there haven't you? You're probably used to wearing them out on the sides first.:)
