Ram Air when riding in the rain

I have got caught in the rain for over 50 miles a couple times and never had any problems, just lubed the chain, but never had any motor problems.

Don't worry.

The next time you take your fairings off, have a look at the ram air assembly.

Unless you totally immersed the front end of your bike, it's good. Water is heavier than air. The way the ram air assembly is, water will get trapped before the carbs/inlet through the frame to the carbs.

Yea the Kawi's have resonator boxes in the ram air tubes that give them that sweat Kawi Growl/Howl. They also stop any water from getting to the airbox, they drain out the bottom. No issues unless you go snorkeling, hehe

I was wondering if anyone could tell what hapens to the ram air when riding in the rain the other day i rode to work and it was pissing down when i finally got to work my bike sounded a bit flooded, Is their any harm in getting any water in your air box should it dry up??
