Hey RiderX1

I just read one of your posts, you mentioned that Kawasaki makes a Shim kit for the 2003 ZX-6Rs. Do you know how much and where can I get this.

The dealers here don't know shit!

I've got a 2002 636.

I've been playing with the rear ride height and have come to the conclusion that a 10mm hike (stock alum. shim is 6mm)is the best solution for me.

ANYONE KNOWS IF KAWASAKI PRODUCES ALUM. SHIMS TO ALLOW VARIABLE SETTINGS????

I'm currently just using brass washers to lift the rear. But as I ride in the wet, I'm starting to get rust on the washer!
Storm, are you looking to raise the rear a little in your 02 6r? The 01 and 02 6r's can be adjusted via the stock shock... With an 03 however, you will require shims.

If you are after shims for an 03, let me know, there is a little factory not too far from where I live that makes them for all sorts of bikes... Apparently there's not to many places that provide this product, which is quite odd if you look at the demand. Then again, I live a mere 30 min from one of the biggest roadrace tracks in Canada (Shannonville).

Anyways, if you need a set, let me know and I will go get some details for you.

The 02 was changed form the previous design on the 98-01's, (or at leats the 00-01's) and it needs a shim too :(
