Vito: You're owners manual should have instructions for this. I'll give it a try thought it's been a while.

Turn off fuel.
Remove rear seat.
Remove front seat. One bolt (8 or 10mm I think) and bracket.
Remove two rear bolts (I think) and two front bolts holding tank.
Remove fuel hose from bottom of tank. Watch for drips.
Remove tank, carefull not to scratch frame.

I think that's about it.

When you do it, write down a step by step and it can be added to the FAQ.

Just to add to diirk's -

On my '02 I have to remove the plastic fuel knob, the deal-a-ma-bob you turn to switch from on to off to res, or it won't clear the frame. It's used one phillips head screw in the hole in the center of the deal-a-ma-bob.

Good luck!!!

To add to agon2welz..

When you remove the 4 allen screws holding the tank, use the longer part of the allen wrench and attach the a needle nose to the wrench. If you remove the tank enough like I do, you slowly or quickly start to strip the bolts. Using the longer end with a needlenose will keep the bolts from stripping. hth's
