Initial Reports from World Launch of ZX-6R Positive

Although Kawasaki purposely did not invite American journalists to the World launch of the 2003 ZX-6R in Malaysia (due to terrorist concerns), MD will be among the first American journalists to test these new models (remember, there are two of them) next month in Nevada. Additionally, the 6R and 6RR should be the first new 600s available at U.S. dealerships (the new 600s from Honda and Yamaha will appear a bit later next year).
In the meantime, we are trying to arrange for a tasty morsel or two (and some photos) from our European friends attending the Malaysian launch. We hear the bikes are quite impressive. Stay tuned.
