Hello all, I recently purchased a 2002 Kawasaki Ninja 250R from a fellow who wasn't using it. I paid $500.
suffice to say this bike was poorly treated by a previous owner and I'll be sharing all of the gory details in another thread. suffice to say; this is a true project bike and if it were a horse I'd have shot it, instead.
fortunately it's not a horse; it's a motorcycle. as a finely crafted machine There's nothing wrong with it that some elbow grease, a stick welder, a can of good paint, and $1,311 worth of OEM parts in the hands of a student of NADC can't fix.
of course, being a tech that specializes in Diesel powered heavy equipment, I am eager to draw on the expertise of this forum's user base for this project.
