Hey everyone,
I purchased a 2003 250r a couple years ago and rode it for the summer. The bike was low miles and in good shape, but when I put it away for the winter (live in NJ) I didn't think about winterizing or draining fluids etc. Since then, life happened and the bike went untouched for a past couple of years.
At this point I'm wanting to restore it and start riding again but I have no idea how to approach it. I bought a new battery but haven't installed it yet because I'm not sure if the maintenance work will be worth more than the motorcycle at this point. Can anyone point out some maintenance guide or if I'm better off taking it to a mechanic and what I could expect this restoration to cost me based on needing just about a full tune-up including tires? Thanks for the help and let me know if there's any more info I can give.

Change all your fluids. Clean/replace your air filter. Do all maintenance according to the maintenance schedule.
See what happens, and take it from there
