anyone know how well the fit for other years and models will bolt up to a 2003? i need forks and triple for a 2003 zx-9. i wonder if the 12 forks would fit through my triple. and bolt to my calipers too. any info would help. and so would some 2003 forks and triple tree!

No they will not. The 02 to 03 are the only ones that will bolt up with out having to change wheels, and brakes. You can press out the steering stem of the 12 or 7 (maybe other) triple tree, and press in the stem of your NINE with a little machine work. Other then that 02/03 zx9.
