I don't know how many of you out there in Ninja land have tried this, but I was wondering how difficult it is to raise the rear ride height on a 636? DO you need any special tools other than the little washer? Is this a job I should pay a pro to do? I just had mu suspension adjusted, and now it feels like the bike is resisting turns, but it is dead stable. I figured I could raise the rear a bit. Any info or advice would be great.

There was discussion on another tread. You might do a search. The factory puts out a shim kit that costs more than $100. You can replace the shim with a nut like on the older ZX-6R. The '03 and up ZX-6R has demonstrated that it will head shake a little with the stock ride height setting. I would go very slowly on raising the rear ride height or consider getting a steering damper.

you could always drop the fork tubes through thee triple tree. that doesnt cost anything. \but be careful because its going to yield the same results as swjohnsey said.
