You just have to get over your fear of doing it, which is essentially what bikerchick was saying. The best way to get over that fear, like BP88 said, practice in a controlled environment.
Even if you dont have faith in yourself at first, have faith in the machine. You know it can do it, it's not going to favor left vs right, it is after all, just a machine.
Just remember, when you're approaching the corner, you should have already done all your braking well before you hit the apex so you can accelerate through the corner, thats gonna keep you from dumping the bike in the turn.

I'll tell you one of the best places I went to learn how to lean was the mall parking lot after hours.
Most malls have two roads around the property, one outside ring that doesnt have a whole lot of change to it...it's just a circle, and the "inside track" that actually follows the contour of the buildings.
The inside track is great for getting experience in a relatively safe environment. Just watch out for sprinklers the run across the road since night time is when most places water the grass.
